Today I did the assessment where I have to play my composition with my chosen instrument which is the flute. I did well in playing my instrument. I was really nervous for this assessment.

today is the assessment day. In the assessment we have to write about John williams. I did great in this assessment because I studied for it. But i wrote more on the inspiration part compared to the biography part.

Today Mr Sadrach told us to practice for the application assessment, at first I thought that we are going to instrument class to practice but it turns out that everyone in 7B has to perform their own music composition. I was nervous when my name was called, so i decided to look at my music book instead of my classmates.

Today Mr Sadrach discussed about John williams. He told us that we are going to have the writing assessment in two weeks and we have to write a biography about John Williams. Mr Sadrach also showed us some songs in youtube that John Williams composed, He showed us the theme songs of Jurassic park, E.T, Star wars, Superman, and Indiana Jones. I enjoyed listening to the songs of John Williams.

Today Mr Sadrach is absent, the substitute teacher is Mr Harry. He gave me a handout about John Williams. I learnt that John William won a lot of awards. In the instrument class I practiced the F scale.

Today is the due date of the music composition assessment. Luckily I have my music composition ready to be submitted, when I went to Mr Sadrach to submit my music composition he said it was wrong so he gave me time to improve it until tomorrow (Tuesday).

Today Mr Sadrach asked about our music composition (now with 32 bars). Then he told the students to get the finale software from Mr Harry, the woodwind instrument teacher. Mr Sadrach also explained and showed how to make the music finale.

Today Mr Sadrach asked us if we finished making 32 bars of our own music composition...but the whole class didn't do 32 bars because mr Sadrach forgot or did not tell us in the previous music session so he wasn't mad.

Today in music class Mr Sadrach asked us to show him our own music composition. He collected our music composition and played some. He played my music composition the first. At first I didnt know that Mr Sadrach is playing my music composition, but my music composition turned out surprisingly kind of good but it still has some mistakes and I only made 13 bars.

Today Mr Sadrach taught us about the number of beats of the notes. The number of beats of the notes is kind of hard for me to understand.

Today Mr Sadrach gave a second chance to get a better score. I didn't take the second chance because I was already happy with my score. So i just watched my classmates play their instruments again.

Today I did the assessment, for the assessment we should play the instrument we chose and the song has to be a western song. For this assessment I played "when you wish upon a star" from disney's pinocchio. I did quite good for this assessment.

Today Mr Sadrach told us to play the song we chose with our chosen instrument, so he could give opinions on how we played. I think its really nice for Mr Sadrach to let us play our instrument before the final assessment.

Today Mr Sadrach asked us to answer the questions in the white board. we need to write the letters for the music scale like C,D,E,F,G,A,B and the sharps along with it. I was still a bit confused when I came up to the white board and wrote the answers. unfortunately I got wrong 2 times and after answering the 3rd time Mr Sadrach asked me to sit down.

Today I learn where and how to put sharps. At first I thought I was never going to understand what Mr Sadrach was teaching but at the end I understood it by listening carefully to Mr Sadrach.

Today I did the music assessment which i have to write a 400-500 word essay. The essay is about the eras of music, I did really good in the medieval era, renaissance era, classical era, and romantic era except the baroque era which I did really bad.

Today Mr Sadrach opened our blog to see if we finished it. He asked us one by one for our website address. I think my blog is really important because its part of the score for music.

Today Mr Sadrach checked if we already made the blog. He asked us what Discipline and Responsible mean. I think it is important for us to know the definition of discipline and responsible because if we don't know their definitions we will wont know how to be discipline and responsible. If being discipline and responsible is not achieved we will not be successful in achieving our goals in the future.

Today i watch my classmates sing, Then i read the handout that Mr Sadrach gave me the week before. The handout is about the eras for each type of music.

Today i did the singing assessment. the song is "My Favorite Things" from the movie sound of music. I was really nervous when singing the song in front of my classmates.

Today we learn about the intervals. I learned that if we add a sharp to a note, that note will increase by half. But if we add a flat to a note, that note will decrease by half.

Today Mr Sadrach explained about the G clef and the F clef. he told us that there will be an assessment. I think learning the clef is much less important than the sharp and flat sign.

Today Mr Sadrach explained about the notes in the scale. Today's lesson was fun, Mr Sadrach made us memorize the notes in the c major scale.
